You’ve Got Questions… We’re Here To Answer.
Before we officially open our doors, here are just a few questions we have received since announcing our arrival in Lexington, Kentucky in January, 2026. Here are just a few need to knows…
Is the Boutique Open Yet?
No, not yet! We are in the process of gathering inventory and searching for the perfect location in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. Our plan is to open doors in January, 2026 - but we’ll keep you posted, so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram, as well as sign up for our newsletter on our homepage.
2. Is the Boutique a Non-Profit?
No, the Boutique is a for-profit enterprise, focused on the empowerment of sex trafficking survivors through employment and a living wage. The proceeds of the sales of the donated clothing and apparel will fund the business and pay our employees. We’re so excited to bring these survivors some dignity through employment!
3. What will the Boutique Sell?
We will sell gently used or new women clothing and apparel, such as shoes, handbags, sunglasses and jewelry. We also plan to feature a few survivor-made brands, as well as Boutique logo swag. A portion of the swag proceeds will go back to our partner organizations. More to come on this!
4. What can I Donate to the Boutique?
We are only taking women’s clothing and apparel at this time. Clothing should be gently used or new only, free of any major blemishes, stains, pilling, rips or tears. All sizes (XXS-XXL or the number equivalent) will be accepted in all styles, including workout, casual, business, dressy, etc. We WILL NOT accept maternity or other specialty clothing, such a sports clothing for now.
Plus, we’ll take gently used or new shoes, sunglasses, handbags, and jewelry!
